The Akij Group conglomerate in Bangladesh is active in many industries including the wood-materials sector and has commissioned Siempelkamp with the delivery of a particleboard plant able to process wood flakes and one part jute fibres.

BÜTTNER has been awarded the order for a drum dryer sized 4.4 x 24 R with flash tube pre-dryer and a second feed lock. The drying system is to be heated by a gas/dust combination burner possessing a performance of 22 MW. The hot fumes from several gas motors are also to be added in the mixing chamber.
