EGGER, which has been a BÜTTNER customer for many years, is planning to replace its indirectly heated flake dryer and increase performance at its location in Brilon. To this end, it has commissioned BÜTTNER to supply a new RT 5.6 / 5.0 x 24 HK drum dryer along with the corresponding internals and tube-bundle heat-exchangers. The heat-exchangers to heat up the drying the air, the rollers, the drum drive and the feed and discharge housing are also to be renewed and adapted to the increased performance. As the method has proved itself in the past, the drum and the tube-bundle heat-exchangers will be manufactured and assembled directly on site by BÜTTNER to ensure that the drum replacement is concluded on time.
