OOO ‘Pavlovskij DOK’, a wood conglomerate based in Russia, is building an MDF factory around 2,000 kilometres to the east of the Ural Mountains close to the city of Barnaul with the aim of utilising the potential for wood that characterises the region. Siempelkamp has been commissioned to plan and supply the entire facility.
Büttner will be providing the flash tube fibre dryer that will be heated by flue gas and a BLB gas line burner that will be supplying 34 tonnes of dry fibres per hour for board production.
It is intended that the Büttner energy plant, which will be equipped with a step grate and with dust and gas burners, will meet the entire energy requirements of 48 megawatts and, besides flue gas for the dryer, will also supply the thermal oil and steam for production and heating the building.
