Wood-based panels

For decades, manufacturers in the wood-based panel industry have relied on Büttner's proven technologies. In particular, the gentle and uniform drying of raw materials such as wood fibers, OSB strands, or wood chips represents the core competence. This is complemented by the use of various burners and the utilization of Büttner's energy systems for the efficient provision of process heat.
Alternative raw materials such as rice straw for fiberboard, bamboo for particleboard production or bagasse as residual material from sugar cane processing are also treated in Büttner dryers.
Büttner's single-pass drum dryers, tube bundle dryers (rotary dryer), tube drum dryers and flash dryers are well suited to dry the various feedstocks in this industry.
