The Asperbras company in Brazil has commissioned Siempelkamp with the delivery of a turnkey MDF plant for its Agua Clara location in Mato Grosso do Sul. This new player in the wood-materials industry possesses extensive wood plantations there for which it intends to create a market.

BÜTTNER will be supplying the entire energy and dryer section for the plant. The energy system will possess a total combustion capacity of around 45 MW and besides flue gases for the dryer will also be producing thermal oil to heat the presses and steam for the refiner. The flash-tube fibre dryer will be sized 2.2 x 5.3/2.
