Yekalon, one of the leading suppliers of construction materials in China, has placed an order with Siempelkamp for an MDF plant that starts with the drying system and ends with an automated large-capacity stacking facility. Besides the usual range of thicknesses, this plant will also be able to produce thinnest boards of up to 1.0 millimetres.
Büttner will be supplying the fibre dryer that is to be heated with flue gases and that is to deliver a capacity of 33 tonnes of fibres per hour.
