VMG, a manufacturer of wood-based panels, has placed another order with Siempelkamp following the two joint particleboard projects of Giriu Bizonas in Lithuania and VMG Mogilev in Belarus – this time for its third complete particleboard plant to be installed at the new location in Akmene in Lithuania.
This is also Büttner's third drum dryer to be built for this customer. Its dimensions of 6.5 x 36 R and an upstream flash tube will enable it to achieve an output of 55 t/h. In addition to the complete dryer, Büttner will also be supplying the heating system in the form of a type BCB-D/G-55 dust / gas combination burner.
The exhaust air will be cleaned as the state of the art requires using a wet electrostatic precipitator that the customer has commissioned directly.
