Our customer Fabryki Mebli “FORTE“ S.A. has been producing particleboard on a new Siempelkamp press at their facility in Suwalki, Poland since February 2018.
The required wood chips are dried with a Büttner high-performance drum dryer. The dryer unit consists of a flash tube pre-dryer and the single-pass drum type 5.6 x 28 R with a downstream discharge box and cyclones.
The necessary heat energy for the complete process is supplied by a newly-installed Büttner energy system with grate firing, dust burners and a thermal oil heater. In addition to the flue gas for the dryer, the complete thermal oil is heated and available for use by the new press and building heating system.
The contract between FORTE and Büttner includes not only complete delivery of an energy system, burner and dryer, but also turn-key assembly and successful commissioning.
