FSC Corporation in Vietnam operates in different business fields and has to date manufactured MDF boards on a small Chinese-built plant using a multi-daylight press.
It has chosen Siempelkamp as the supplier of the forming and press line and Büttner as the supplier of the dryer and energy system to help it bring its MDF production up to date and in compliance with the current state of the art.
The flash-tube fibre dryer will be heated with flue gas and deliver a fibre performance of 42 t/h.
The energy system with step grate, dust burner and granulate injection will achieve a total combustion performance of 63 MW.
Of this, approximately 33 MW of flue gas will be required to heat the dryer while 28 MW will be needed to heat the thermal oil. The steam required to produce the wood-based- panels will be generated indirectly from the thermal oil.
