Homanit Krosno, Poland

Homanit, a specialist for thin boards, has placed the order for its new thin-board HDF plant in Krosno / Poland with Siempelkamp.
 BÜTTNER will be supplying the energy and dryer section for the plant.

The energy system will possess a total combustion capacity of around 38 MW and besides flue gases for the dryer will also be using thermal oil to heat the continuous press. The flash-tube fibre dryer sized 2.5 x 6.3/2 will be heated with flue gases that will be passed through a dry electric filter beforehand to minimise dust emissions.
