Kronoswiss’ drum dryer at its location in Menznau in Switzerland, which was manufactured by Overhoff & Altmeyer in 1988, is showing its age and signs of severe mechanical wear.
As it is intended to increase performance at this location in future anyway, Büttner has been commissioned with the delivery of a larger 6.0 x 29 R dryer drum and a new fan.
The special challenge that this project presents is the dryer's location right in the middle of an organically grown plant layout, which is to be maintained for the new single-path drum dryer.
